white cane
i always said i wouldn't use one and now i am borrowing one for a bit to try , i am not going to use it so much as for finding things in front of me but as a respect barrier if im in a crowded place and people dont know i am blind it is more to let people know.
people dont always assume im blind while i am walking around carrying my skateboard :P
the white cane will also make for some really cool skateboard pictures :D

That sounds about right; it's more of a warning to let other people (especially drivers) know that you may not see them as well as someone else without impaired vision. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the cool pictures too!
